Reasons to Become a Member

MSU alumni ask why they should become members of the MSU Alumni Association, so here is a list of very good reasons:

An opportunity to support Michigan State University and the many programs offered by the MSU Alumni Association. Join online or call 877-MSU-ALUM.
An opportunity to serve on the National Board of Directors for the MSU Alumni Association and provide valuable ideas for alumni programming.
To become active in your regional alumni club and serve on its board of directors or one of the club's committees. Portions of your membership dues are returned to your degree college and to your local alumni club each year.
To serve on the board of directors of the alumni constituent group of your College, Department, or School.

To use MSU Alumni Career Services for resume critique, for posting your resume for referral to prospective employers, or for searching job listings for opportunities that match your interests. Employers may post job openings or search a resume database for top MSU alumni applicants.
To discover the fun of traveling with other Spartans on MSUAA International tours or travel study programs.
To use financial services discounts available with the MSU Federal Credit Union and MBNA America Bank N.A.
To attend cultural events offered at Wharton Center and by the MSU Theatre Department. Priority seating is offered to members by Wharton Center and a discount to members by the Theatre Department.

To get major discounts with shipping and moving companies.
