Dear
MSUAA Alumni Groups:
Wow! For the middle part of August, many alumni regional clubs are
doing big events that bring Spartans together as Football season draws near.
Congratulations to the Quad Cities Alumni Club
on receiving their Official MSUAA Club Charter as the 106th MSU alumni
club in the United States! A great reception was held in Davenport,
Iowa, as a dedicated and diverse group of Spartans celebrated the event
(See picture below)
The Manistee County Alumni Club is hosting
its Third Annual Summer Picnic on Thursday, August 14, from 5:00 - 7:30
PM, at the beautiful Lutz Farms. According to Club President Bob
Rorich, this year's event features Men's Golf Coach Mark Hankins
and other University guests, a "hole-in-one" contest, Spartan Raffle and
dinner with "World Famous Hobo Stew". Bob says all proceeds will go
towards the club's scholarship fund. More information can be found

who passed away earlier this summer. Guests will enjoy a Prime Rib
dinner at The Officer's Club, and Women's Basketball Director of Operations
Nate Lake is one of the featured University speakers. For more
