One of the most challenging aspects of job-hunting for a new college graduate or inexperienced job applicant is introducing themselves. Personal business cards can help most people. If you have personal information ready to hand to anyone you meet at any time, you have a distinct advantage over other job applicants.
When you receive a business card in exchange for your own, BE SURE TO STUDY the business card you get. Do not immediately stick it in your pocket!
Printed personal business cards might include:
Your name Home address, city, state, and zip Telephone number Fax number Email address Degrees attained, colleges and universities attended, and academic majors if appropriate for your career objectives.
Sample:
On the back of your cards, use adjectives to describe yourself, maybe in bullet format, and a maximum of 5-6 bullets.

Design Your Own Business Cards Print professional-looking business cards on pre-scored business card stock. Most major word-processing software packages (including MS word) have a business card template, which makes this task much easier. Most major office suppliers have business card stock (i.e. Avery 8471, 5372, etc.) so you can print 10 per page. With a laser printer, you can prepare your own very attractive business cards including color without too much expense.
