SEEKING NOMINATIONS

The Nominating Committee of the MSU Alumni Association Executive Board is seeking nominations for individuals interested in serving on the Alumni Association’s Advisory Council.

The Advisory Council shall be composed of a broad and diverse cross section of members who represent the interest and concerns of the Association’s constituencies as they relate to Association core values, goals and activities. Council members shall stay informed of Association and University issues. Members of the Alumni Advisory Council shall serve as active advocates for Michigan State University and the Alumni Association. In addition, members of the Advisory Council shall have the responsibility to serve on Executive Board committees as proactive members.

The Alumni Advisory Council represents the interest of the Association’s many constituencies including individuals representing:

Michigan-based regional alumni clubs
Out-of-state regional alumni clubs
Colleges and other recognized alumni sub-units
International alumni groups
Alumni interest groups
Young alumni (within ten years of completing a first degree)
At large members

Appointees will serve a two year term with the opportunity for reappointment. Nomination forms must be completed in their entirety and be received in the Alumni office by February 1, 2009.
