Spartan Tailgates

Kick-off your home football Saturdays with the Alumni Association’s “SparTENTS”. Join us as we cheer for Coach Dantonio and the MSU Spartan Football Team. Don’t miss out on an excellent place for friends to meet and socialize before the game!

Join us for lots of good food; face painting for kids of all ages and exclusive merchandise provided the Spartan Bookstore to compliment your Spartan wardrobe. The MSU Cheerleaders, Sparty and Zeke the Wonder Dog pay exclusive visits. Live DJ with music, contests, prizes and visits by University VIP’s and Spartans from around the United States!

Admission to the tailgate is free.  The MSU Alumni Association tent is located near the northeast corner of Spartan Stadium near the Tunnel prior to the following home football games:

September 5                Montana State           
September 12              *Central Michigan “Kids Day”
October 3                    Michigan
October 24                  Iowa
November 7                Western Michigan
November 21              Penn State

All tents are open 2 1/2 hours prior to kick-off.

Please note: food and beverages are available for a nominal fee.

*Join us for a special “Kids Day” tailgate featuring Sparty, Zeke the Wonder Dog, face painters, balloon animals, a live bug exhibit, games, prizes and special give-a-ways provided by the MSU Federal Credit Union including a chance to color your own Sparty mask. Alumni Association “Legacy” membership kids “show your card” and receive a free Sparty shirt.
